This temporary installation took its name from English Nature`s guidelines for installing the Way Post sculpture in the Pastures, with concern for the footprint on the land each Way Post would make.
The Land, depicting the panoramic view from Pasture Gate, and Red Campion based on one of the indigenous wild flowers, were created during the Way Post project workshop programme, inspired by visits to Millington Pastures.
These two works were supported by 1500 unfired clay figures that had been part of Woldgate College`s successful installation Never Again (in memory of Holocaust victims). Never Again was reworked by Btech students in the stunning setting of Beverley Minster.
